Whether it has been as a primary school teacher in the UK, Cairo and Dubai, or as an Integrative Health Coach and running coach, I get a real kick out of helping people like you realise their self worth and guiding them towards positive lifestyle change.
To date I have run ten marathons, three ultra marathons and countless other events. But life has not always been that way!
My love of running was a huge help in helping me move forward and through challenges. It made me feel like I could accomplish anything I set my mind to, and also played a huge role in me developing healthier habits. Now I thrive off helping others to do the same through my running and health and lifestyle coaching services.
My favourite weekend activity:
Going for a long morning run before returning to a yummy breakfast.
Buggy running with my son along for the ride!
Discovering new places in Portugal and further afield.
The beach in the morning

From struggling with money in the early stages of my career, to incredibly toxic relationships, to getting caught up in the revolution in Cairo, it has taken me a long, long time to finally feel like I am on the right path, both physically and mentally.
I lived in Dubai for nine years, and fully understand how expat life can take its toll. Like many, I lost my way when I moved there. Endless parties, takeaway meals, balancing a stressful job and living off very little sleep…it’s no wonder I was tired, puffy, foggy-brained and dealing with a lot of digestive issues!
It seems that some of us tend to go through a stage of life where it looks like we have it all, yet in reality we are miserable and in the midst of so many unhealthy habits. One bad decision leads to another and our lives become totally out of balance. This was me!
After deciding that international teaching wasn’t for me, I dabbled with freelance work but soon began to feel very unfulfilled, which led to what I call my ‘wilderness years’ (and I mean YEARS!) of sticking to what was safe but feeling absolutely no joy or purpose in what I did. On the surface everything looked great; I had got married, was running marathons all over the world and had two amazing dogs. But truthfully speaking, I needed more. I felt I was coasting through life without making an impact, and I knew I would never be happy until I found a role for myself.
From unhealthy and unsatisfied to a ten times marathon runner, lifestyle coach and Mum.
For me, lifestyle transformation didn’t happen overnight, and it wasn’t the result of any kind of epiphany. Rather, it happened as part of an evolution - one where I took small steps and built upon change, day by day. I added things in rather than taking them away, found like-minded people, became more mindful in so many areas of my life, and began to realise the power in facing your fears head on. These small steps happened naturally over time and got me to where I am now.
How it all changed
I qualified as a health & lifestyle coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2019, complimenting my 2016 running coaching qualification with England Athletics. Bringing together my passion for health, wellness and fitness on an online platform whilst working with clients towards their own personal health and wellness goals, I aim to channel my energy into helping and inspiring those around me, creating a ripple effect through my online coaching as well as my local community.
It has taken a while, but I’m finally doing what I love! And I wouldn’t change a single step along the way, as it has all pointed me (eventually) in the right direction.
